An American plastics manufacturer that once imported recycling equipment from Europe found us at the NPE Plastics Show. They are looking for a high-quality but more economical recycling machine to replace their old equipment.
The main business of customer is to supply shopping bags and grocery bags to the top five major supermarkets/shopping malls in the United States, such as Home Depot, Walmart, etc., but they also need efficient recycling equipment for internal recycling: recycle their own leftover bags.
After seeing the recycling line at the exhibition and discussing the design with YE I team, they finally bought several touch screen controlled (PLC) plastic recycling machines from us to replace the original European equipment.
Many plastic bag suppliers these days purchase plastic recycling machines to process the remaining bags/defective products because of the increase in material value. Plastic bags are being recycled and reused to reduce the production cost. Through YE I's special design with intelligent engineering solutions, plastic bags can be recycled and reproduced with excellent results.
Everyone knows that plastic resin condenses when it generates heat, so it needs to be cooled. In most of plastic bag recycling equipment designs, they use water sprays (water cooling) to reduce heat. But YE I's idea is to use both water and air cooling method for the crushing process. We designed a two-stage cooling function, when the temperature exceeds the preset temperature, the blower will be activated for air cooling, but if the temperature continues to rise above a certain temperature, then the water spray will be activated. This is to avoid the problems of water pollution and excessive water content in the particles as much as possible as it may cause particles to foam. By doing so, customers' plastic bag waste will be able to be effectively recycled.
As a result, the excellent performance of the first plastic granulator encouraged them to buy the second one in half a year, and then continued to purchase new machines to replace the old ones. So far, this American customer already has several YE I’s plastic waste recycling machines with production capacity of 600 kg to 1,000 kg per hour, these machines are located in South Carolina, Idaho, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, etc.
